Modes Of Operation:

One ROBOFlagger at one end and one traditional human flagger at the other

Station the ROBOFlagger at one end of the work zone. On the opposite side use a traditional human with his/her stop/slow sign. They will use the remote control1 to operate the ROBOFlagger stationed at the opposite end of the work zone and their stop/slow sign for the other

Benefits: Removes one person for the road, reducing the exposure to your flagger by half. Utilize 50% of the labor required to do the same job. This makes the ROBOFlagger an asset that pays for itself in a short period of time.

Two ROBOFlaggers with one traditional human flagger located in the center of the work zone

Station the ROBOFlagger at each end of the work zone. One traditional human can operate both systems off the dangerous roadway. One remote per unit eliminates any chance for confusion. The human is the conflict monitor!

Benefits: Removes all personnel necessary for traffic control off the road! Zero exposure! First Call Flagging is working with disabled Veterans associations to help put people back to work in areas that they love. It is now possible for someone with a disability to control traffic on a job. This allows the contractor to use light duty or other personnel that cannot perform their standard job. This is a tremendous advantage for the contractor and the personnel involved.

One ROBOFlagger with one person

Station the ROBOFlagger on the road have the traditional human flagger stand off the road next to the ROBOFlagger. The traditional flagger can either use the remote control or the hand held 25’ wired controller.

Benefits: Removes all personnel from the road. The traditional flagger is in complete control and able to control their own system. This is the safest way to flag. If you are in a non-line of sight situation than use two way radio communication between the two traditional flaggers.

2 ROBOFlaggers on the same frequency for use at HAUL crossings

Station a ROBOFlagger on each side of the road where traffic control is necessary. Program the remote controls to the same frequency and one person will control both sides simultaneously.

Benefits: Use one traditional human flagger to do the work of two. Remove all exposure to your personnel from the dangerous roadway. Easier for the traditional flagger to communicate with the truck drivers crossing the road.
